The Convenor will brief on the process followed to determine the in-coming CPD Convenor, and will call on next convenor to brief on its future plans as new CPD Convenor. | |
4. | ISSUES RELTAED TO INSTRUCTIONS FROM THE LEADERS, MINISTERS AND SOM |
The Convenor will report on the guidelines for the 2002 work program received from Leaders, Ministers and the SOM. A. Implementation of the Shangai Accord i) Broadening and Updating of OAA The Secretariat to brief on the Strenghtening the Functioning of Markets and on e-APEC strategy and how it is related to Competition Policy. The CPD Group will be invited to discuss on new ideas to the broadening of the OAA to reflect changes in the global economy, such as the development of new economy,. E-APEC Strategy and Strenghtening the Functioning of Markets. The CPD Group will be invited to consider how it could contribute to the identification of possible pathfinder initiatives that facilitate the move towards the Bogor goals.
