In parallel with the process of creating a healthy competition environment in Vietnam, Competition Law was passed by the tenth Congress of National Assembly at its sixth section on November 09, 2004.
With 6 chapters and 123 articles, Competition Law, for the first
time of enactment, consists of regulations on rights of competition, control
of anti-competitive behaviors, economic concentration, handling of unfair
competition behaviors, competition administration agency, competition handling
council. Competition Law will take effects on July 01, 2005.
