Chapter V- Competition Law of Vietnam stipulates the orders and procedures of investigation, handling of a competition case, consisting of general provisions; participants of competition handling procedures; agencies of conducting competition handling procedures, persons of conducting competition handling procedures; investigation of competition cases; hearing sections; effectiveness of decisions on handling competition cases; handling of appeals of ineffective decisions competition cases; handling of infringement of Competition Law.

Currently, the Competition Administration Department under the Ministry of Trade is drafting decrees on guiding the implementation of Competition Law, including a decree on establishment of and provisions on organizational system of the competition administration agency, a decree on administrative fine in the field of competition.
